Revised Dates of the CBSE 2023 Class 12 Exam
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the date sheet for the 12th class 2023 examinations. Students can check the updated CBSE timetable at cbse.gov.in.
As per the revised CBSE date sheet, the exams that were previously scheduled to be held on 4th April 2023, has been shifted to 27th March 2023, after the Class 12 Business Studies (Subject Code - 054) and Business Administration (Subject Code - 833) exam on 25th March 2023. Initially, the board released the CBSE class 12 exam date 2023 on December 29, 2022.
Subjects Whose Exams Will Be Held On The Revised Dates
As per the latest notice released by CBSE, Urdu Elective (003), Sanskrit Elective (022), Carnatic Music Vocal (031), Carnatic Music Mel Ins (032), Carnatic Music Per Ins Mridangam (033), Knowledge Tradition & Practices of India (073), Urdu Core (303), Front Office Operations (810), Insurance (814), Geospatial Technology (818), Electrical Technology (819), Taxation (822) and Mass Media Studies (835) are the subjects that will have their exam on 27th March.
Are the Class 10th Exam Dates Also Revised?
No, the date sheet of class 10 remains the same as issued on 29.12.2022.
According to the official notification, the CBSE board exams 2023 for class 10 will commence on February 15, 2023, and will end on March 21, 2023. Class 12 board exams will take place between February 15, 2023, and April 5, 2023.

Exam Timing & Duration
The CBSE class 10 & 12 exams will start at 10:30 am.
Most exams will be of three hours duration and finish at 1:30 pm, while some will be of two hours duration and end at 12:30 pm.
