Indian Air Force has published the admit card for the examination to be held for Agniveer Vayu 2022 recruitment. The exam for Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment will be held from 18 January to 24 January 2023. The final enrollment list will be issued on June 10, 2023.

Which Agency Enrolls Agniveervayu for the IAF?

CASB test and enrol Agniveervayu for the IAF. The major tasks performed by CASB are as follows:-

3. Prepare & Design Question Papers
4. Conduct Scheduled Test
5. Conduct of Recruitment Drives Across the Country
6. Prepare All India Selection List
7. Enroll Candidates

Selection Process

There will be three stages for the selection in IAF Agniveer air recruitment process. In the first stage, there will be an online examination. In the second stage, there will be another online exam and a physical fitness test. There will be an adaptability test one & two. In the third step, there will be a medical exam.

The list of selected candidates will be shared in February. 

Nationality

The candidate should be an Indian Citizen.

Age Criteria

The minimum age limit for enrollment in IAF as an Agniveervayu is 17½ years as of the date of enrollment. The maximum age limit is 21 years as of the date of enrollment. 

In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Process, then the upper age limit as on date of enrollment should be 21 years.

Marital Status

Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrollment as Agniveervayu in IAF. Candidates will have the certificate of being “unmarried” at the time of enrollment. 

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Civilian Candidates

(a) Science Subjects:-

Candidates should have passed Class 10+2 or Equivalent examinations in Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Or Should have cleared three years Diploma Course in Engineering from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate or Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).

Or Should have cleared two years of vocational courses with non-vocational subjects, viz. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Courses (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

(b) Other than Science Subjects:-

Should have passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Or cleared two years of vocational course from Educational Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Physical & Medical Requirements

To get selected as an Agniveervayu, the candidate must be physically and mentally fit to perform duties in any part of the world, weather, and topography. Physical/ medical requirements to become an Agniveervayu are as follows:-

For Male Candidates:

Height - Minimum height for Male candidates is 152.5 cms

Weight - Weight should be according to height and age.

Chest - Minimum chest margin should be 77 cms and the chest expansion should be at least 5 cms.

Corneal Surgery - Corneal Surgery is impermissible.

Hearing - The candidate should have normal hearing and be able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear individually.

Dental - Should have healthy gums, perfect set of teeth, and minimum 14 dental points.

Visual Standards - 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye.

General Health - The candidate shall be physically and mentally fit to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and ground.

For Female Candidates:

Height - Minimum height for Female candidates is 152 cms

Weight - Weight should be according to height and age.

Chest - The chest should be well proportioned with a minimum range of expansion of 5 cms.

Corneal Surgery - Corneal Surgery is impermissible.

Hearing - The candidate should have normal hearing and be able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear individually.

Dental - Should have healthy gums, perfect set of teeth, and minimum 14 dental points.

Visual Standards - 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye.

General Health - The candidate should be of normal anatomy without loss of any organ. The candidate shall be physically and mentally fit to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and ground.

Gynaecological Examination - The examination covers external genitalia, hernia orifices, and the perineum, any evidence of stress urinary incontinence or genital prolapse outside introitus.

Pregnancy - Any candidate, if found to be pregnant, shall be disqualified and her candidature will be rejected. 

Body Tattoo

Permanent body tattoos are not permitted. However, tattoos only on the inner face of the forearms, and the back part of the hand, and Tribals with tattoos which are as per the custom and traditions of their tribes may be taken into account.

Only Sikh Candidates, whose religion disallows cutting of the hair or shaving of the face, shall be permitted to grow hair and/or retain a beard and moustache. 

How to Download Admit Card?

Indian Air Force has released the admit card for the examination to be held for Agniveer Vayu 2022 recruitment. 

Registered candidates have to visit the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

On the homepage, the Exam Date and name of Exam City for Agniveervayu 01/2023 are available in your login [Click here to Sign In].

Admit cards will be available to download through candidates login only 24 to 48 hours before the date of exam.

Now candidates have to enter their email ID, password, and captcha.

After submitting the details, the admit card will be displayed on the screen.

Download it and take a printout of it.
